Every spring in the Bay Area, people open up their gardens for the Annual Bay Friendly Coalition Garden Tour. I missed it this year so I'm making myself feel better by posting these photos from last year. This garden was refreshingly less into aesthetics and more into function : ) They had a lot of land. Note the bee house, use of hay, natural containers made from logs, and reuse of an old ladder to make a trellis.
