Oakland Tour: 1st House

My friends and I loved Havenscourt Homestead, Kitty Sharkey's mini farm with creatively presented (and perfectly manicured) edibles.  But what really stole the show is the adorable gaggle of animals. Goats, Chickens, Rabbits, and Birds, all meticulously cared for and loved.

What's most amazing about Kitty is not just that she's built a community around her super-fun back yard (neighbors can't help but visit) but that she's politically involved and serves as a leader and excellent example in animal care. Kitty's in her element sharing her beautiful creations and creatures.
